Journée internationale des musées at Fort Ingall

To celebrate la Journée internationale des musées, Fort Ingall invites you to join in marking the official opening of its season with a free open house on May 18.

This day marks the start of summer activities and offers a wonderful opportunity to (re)discover the site in a friendly and lively atmosphere.

To celebrate, the Fort comes alive and offers a program of events open to everyone!

Visitors will be able to enjoy free guided tours, explore the exhibitions —which are open to the public—and tour the site at their own pace using an audioguide provided for the occasion.

Throughout the day, visitors of all ages are invited to participate in outdoor games and immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the venue. Stories and legends will also be told around the campfire at key moments throughout the day, adding a lively and evocative dimension to the experience.

Drinks and muffins will be provided free of charge at the event.

This day will also mark the launch of the new activity book for young children—a fun way for families to explore history together.

This event is presented through the Cultural Development Agreement of the City of Témiscouata-sur-le-Lac.
