Animation and Guided Tour

Come and meet some of the figures who lived in Fort Ingall. Dressed in the British military clothing, our guides/animators recreate the life which reigned within this field fortification in 1839.

Did you know that the British soldiers committed themselves to service for 10 years but they often stayed for life? And that these same soldiers shared their barracks with women and children? To learn more, join the ranks of the Guided Tour!

Our valorous British soldiers will make a minor modification of their story and their regular chores to give you some archeological notions. After all, it is thanks to archeology that the Fort was rebuilt and that our soldiers can live in it once again! You will have the opportunity to explore this science, as well as see artifacts and ecofacts dating from 1839-1842.

Each guided tour include a musket demonstration.

Approximate length of the guided tour: 1 hour and a half

Please note that guided tours are offered in French only. The exhibitions are bilingual.
